Meet the Team

Many years of management and safety experience in a variety of industries make us your expert in competent safety training.

Jamie Settle DipNEBOSH, MIExpE, MIIRSM, Grad IOSH, RMaPS

Managing Director and Head Trainer

Since leaving school after completing his A-Levels in 1992, Jamie embarked on a career in the British Army.  His 14 year career path led him to become an Improvised Explosive Device and Conventional Munition Disposal Operator and Explosive Safety Specialist.  He has also seen a number of operational tours throughout the world and delivered a variety of training to both UK and international forces.

When he left the Army, he carried his skills into health and safety management, specialising in the construction industry where he joined his father, Terry, to form 'Settle for Safety Ltd', a health and safety consultancy practice and our sister company.

Jamie identified a requirement in his client base for quality training. He saw that a lot of construction companies lacked both industry recognised and bespoke training, specific to their paticular business to provide a competent workforce.  As a result, Allset Safety Training was formed in 2011.  Since then the demand has grown for training and therefore Jamie expanded his skills portfolio to to become a PTTLS qualified trainer; enabling him to deliver a range of CITB accreditated courses.  He has been audited by the IATP for the delivery of Asbestos Awareness Courses and in addition to this Jamie is able to deliver a plethora of safety training on a variety of topics.

Jamie's next aspiration is to become a Chartered Member of IOSH, which he is currently working towards.

Outside of work, Jamie is a family man, married to Louise and has three children. His's passion lies in rugby, where he still plays and coaches youth teams for Medway Rugby Football Club.  He is also an avid fan of The Stone Roses.

Louise Settle

Training Events Manager

After leaving school, Louise embarked on a successful career working for BAE Systems in administration.  From there, she moved on to take on a high profile role as Events Coordinator for Nokia.

As a result of marriage and three subsequent children, she took time out of work to become a full-time mother and wife.

Louise returned to work on the formation of Allset Safety Training and is probably the most valuable member as she organises the day to day administration of the company.

Louise arranges the courses and bookings. Her friendly voice and charming manner is the one that you will generally hear on the other end of the phone.

Louise recently completed the London Moonwalk Marathon to raise money in aid of breast cancer charities.
