We now deliver first aid training

 

Allset safety training are proud to have teamed up with a very energetic, knowledegable and enthusiastic trainer to be able to deliver a range of First Aid at Work Courses.

 

We currently are only offering the Emergency First Aid at Work Course, however look to being able to delivering a range of First Aid Training to meet your specific or legislative requirements.

Changes to CSCS Green Card (Labourer Card)

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is making changes for obtaining a Green Card (Labourer Card). These new requirements being introduced from July 2014 state that along with the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test, a qualification (or alternative) must be achieved in order to apply for the Green Card.

 

This qualification can be the CITB CSkills Site Safety Plus 1 Day Health and Safety Awareness Course.

Terms and Conditions

Payment
Course fees are payable in full prior to the start of the course. Please note that candidates may be turned away unless payment has been made in full. Payment can be made by cheque, bank transfer (details are displayed on the invoice) or via Credit/Debit Card (Paypal) if booking online or over the telephone.

For all CITB Site Safety Plus Health and Safety Awareness Courses, payment in full is to be made before individuals will be booked onto the requested course.  Should a payment in full be made and the individual not attend the course, no refund will payable.

Privacy Policy

We do not store credit card details nor do we share customer financial details with any third parties.  All credit/ debit card transactions are handled by our preferred merchant - Paypal.

Cancellation
You may cancel a scheduled course and be refunded all course fees provided 30 working days notice is given. All cancellations must be received in writing. Delegates may be substituted at any time up to course commencement. In the event of cancellation, the following charges will apply:

• 30-15 days: ¾ fees refundable
• 14-7 days: ½ fees refundable
• Less than 7 days: Full fees payable

Refreshments
Refreshments (tea, coffee, etc.) will be provided at the beginning of the day and during planned break periods. Lunch will also be provided for full-day courses. It is requested that you inform us as soon as possible if any of your delegates have any allergies or special dietary requirements in order to make the appropriate arrangements.

Directions & Parking
Travelling directions to the training centre location will be enclosed with the joining instructions. Parking is available within the Innovation Centre car park, although access into the car park is height restricted. Parking is not permitted in the reserved parking bays. In the case of the car park being full or access not available into the Innovation Centre, overflow parking is available in the Holiday Inn car park opposite the centre.

Registration
Candidates are required to register at the relevant centre reception on arrival. They require to sign into the centre's visitors' book and also into the Allset registration sheet. They are to wait in the Café/Reception/waiting area until collected by the course tutor, where they will be taken to the training room.

Course Materials
Course materials will be provided for the course for the majority of courses. This will include relevant text books, a notebook and pen. Candidates will be required to provide additional stationary they feel that they may require. The ability to read, write and communicate in English is required.

Personal Protective Equipment
For Basic Scaffold Inspection Courses, there will be a requirement for all candidates to physically inspect a scaffold. To that end there will be requirement to wear the necessary personal protective equipment. All candidates are to bring a serviceable:

• Hard hat;
• Pair of safety boots;
• High visibility vest/jacket.

It is the responsibility of the candidate to bring their own PPE. If the individual does not have the minimum PPE then they will be unable to carry out the practical inspection and therefore will not be able to complete all modules of the course.

Course Content
Allset Safety Training reserve the right to alter the course in light of new changes, development or legislation in order for the course to remain up to date. All course material, content and training aids are the property of Allset Safety Training Ltd and may not be reproduced in any form without the express permission of Allset Safety Training Ltd.

Health, safety and security
An induction will be given by the tutor at the beginning of each course and/or location. All candidates shall observe the health, safety and security rules and regulations in force at the Innovation Centre Medway or for any other centre/location where the course takes place.
