We currently are only offering the Emergency First Aid at Work Course, however look to being able to delivering a range of First Aid Training to meet your specific or legislative requirements.

Changes to CSCS Green Card (Labourer Card)

The Construction Skills Certification Scheme (CSCS) is making changes for obtaining a Green Card (Labourer Card). These new requirements being introduced from July 2014 state that along with the CITB Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) Test, a qualification (or alternative) must be achieved in order to apply for the Green Card.

This qualification can be the CITB CSkills Site Safety Plus 1 Day Health and Safety Awareness Course.

As a a CITB accredited training provider, we are able to deliver the following courses:

1. Site Safety Plus: Site Manager's Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) - 5 days

2. Site Safety Plus: Site Manager's Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) Refresher - 2 days

3. Site Safety Plus: Site Supervisors Safety Training Scheme (SSSTS) - 2 days

4. Site Safety Plus: Health and Safety Awareness - 1 day

Asbestos awareness Training:  As members of the Independent Asbestos Training Providers we have been fully audited in our course content and methods of delivery for this course.  The feedback we received from the auditor was excellent and that we had an innovative and well put together course.

If you work in a building that was constructed before the year 2000, there is a risk that it contains asbestos.  Employers have a duty to ensure that all employees have sufficient training to make them aware of the risks. 

Whether you work in construction, building & property maintenance or facilities managemnt there is a high risk that you may encounter asbestos containing materials.  This course is designed to let you know the risks, the health effects of asbestos, likely places you may encounter asbestos and what to do should you encounter asbestos or suspect asbestos containing materials are present.
